Unfortunately, halfway through getting this beauty ready for my fishing adventures in Spain and France (about 8 weeks ago) I fell off a cliff, snapped my arm and knocked myself out whilst fishing here in Cornwall
Nice and relaxing sport!
I’m awaiting surgery to sort my arm out meaning I can no longer perform my ‘handy’ work on this anymore to restore let alone drive it for about 8 – 12 months.
LOTS OF INTEREST AND OFFERS – IF INTERESTED PLEASE MAKE AN OFFER ON THE LISTING SO NOT TO MISS OUT. THANKS.
NEW PICTURES OF THE BRAND NEW FRIDGE, OVEN AND LOG BURNER PURCHASED WHICH ARE INSTALLED IN THE VAN.
I brought it about 6 months ago for £3500.
Less than 57000 miles!!
STARTS AND DRIVES FINE!
I’ve since spent £2.5k+ and a lot of time / effort getting it off grid ready for comfortable, convenient camping wherever you are, the woods, abroad, by the beach etc without the need to hook up.
The old gas pipes have been removed along with the gas fire and old gas oven.
This has been replaced with a beautiful log burner / stove – sitting inside a slate fireplace I built with a nice thick hearth for it to sit on.
I’ve tested it about 10 times during the cold snaps and slept on one of the sofas – its so warms and cosy!
It produces 4.5kw of heat / energy, the van is so warm in the coldest conditions (freezing outside on a few occasions) I didn’t notice a thing.
Brand new main battery.
x3 brand new 105ah leisure batteries, hooked up in parallel as a nice powerful battery bank, capable of all your power needs. (My next job was to install a power inverter to the battery bank, meaning you can draw 240v power from it directly from the 12v battery bank to power whatever you want, wherever you want).
I didn’t buy the inverter due to my accident but everything is ready for you to connect to the battery bank
x3 120w solar panels securely mounted to the roof, connected to a solar controller, which in turn constantly charges the leisure batteries during any sunlight.
The solar controller has a separate feed direct from it to power the lights or anything 12v – I’ve got this wired to the fridge to power it for free from the sun and draw no power from the batteries during any sunlight. When the sun goes down, it draws a slight amount of power from the battery bank in the evening to keep running.
The fridge is a brand new 12v fridge / freezer and works perfectly.
New carpet at £50+ has been put down and on the walls for extra insulation.
New vinyl flooring running from the toilet / shower room across the kitchen.
£80+ of new blackout curtains throughout the motorhome.
I removed the top bed mattress (needed replacing anyway) and lined the area and cupboard doors with camo netting.
I was going to use this as storage for clothes and fishing gear after installing the log burner but could easily be converted into a wild indoor camping area for the kids / or people like me that don’t want to grow up.
Led strip lights are installed in 4 separate areas;
around the floor,
around the kitchen;
around the jungle storage area (nice in green)
above the seating / sofa areas.
These are usb powered, controlled from one controller, and can have 4 different colours in the 4 different ‘zones’ where they’re installed if you wanted, all the same colour, one colour one side and one colour the other etc etc.
I’ve also had air bag suspension fitted with a filling gauge installed behind the drivers seat.
For somebody with the knowledge to finish the project, you can pick up an absolute bargain here!
The new items cost me about the same price as the van!!
Mot needs renewing, was going to put it through when I’d finished my work.
Sold as seen.
Restore / project for the lucky person who knows what they’re doing.
Bank transfer or cash on collection.
Final auction is the price sold for, no haggling on arrival to pick up.
I’m open to sensible offers – please message me!
I’m not a greedy person, I just want as close to what I’ve spent on this back as possible.
Low starting price considering all new parts / items and work carried out by myself, originally for me so to the best standards.
The motorhome will also come with x2 new tyres I brought for spares – tyres on van all in good condition.
Good luck and enjoy!
