DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING
If you have any
question, I will do my best to answer them.
This motorhome is
being sold spare or repair due to water ingress. The motorhome was taken off
the road Feb 2023. I have owned and used motorhome since early 2016. I bought
it with 23092 miles showing but cannot warranty this. Currently, it has 32384
and I can warranty the milage over the past 8 years.
The van is located in
the CF61 area, so please bear this in mind as it will probably need to be
transported,
Mechanically, the
motorhome starts runs and drives really well. It now has now TAX or MOT and the
vehicle is SORN, so can’t be driven on the public roads (unless you have trade
plates) but I took it on a 70 mile journey just before it was declared sorn and
the MOT expired with no issues.
It has all the usual
features:
Rear lounge (converts
to a double bed)
Dining area (converts
to a double bed)
Over cab double bed
Kitchen with gas
cooker (4 hob with oven and grill), 3 way fridge (never used on gas so
condition of this feature is unknown), sink. All appliances were working when
the motorhome was taken off the road but should be assumed as spare or repair
Bathroom with
separate shower, and sink. Cassette toilet (cassette is used but in good
condition)
Duel fuel heating with
a fire and blown air heating (working prior to being taken off the road)
Fresh and grey water
tanks
Duel fuel water
heating (working prior to being taken off the road)
Water pump (working
prior to being taken off the road)
Mechanical living
area step
Exterior
The exterior is in a
fair condition for its age, would benefit from a full respray/ wrap
The living area has
suffered what appears to be a prolonged water ingress. This has resulted in the
lounge ceiling sinking and looking behind a panel, the frame appears to have
suffered significate water damage. There is also evidence of damp/ water damage
to the wall opposite the kitchen and in the bathroom.
My plan was to
restore the van to a fully useable condition but family circumstances mean I haven’t
and won’t have the time to carryout the work in the foreseeable future. I am
therefore selling for SPARE OR REPAIR only.
Please use my plans
below as a guide to the minimum work required to put the van back into a usable
condition and use it to inform your bidding:
·
Fully remove all the cupboards, kitchen, bathroom and seating
·
Remove and later replace all the wall and ceiling panels
·
Remove and later replace all the insulation
·
Remove and later replaced the floor covering
·
Identify and reseal areas on water ingress
·
Carry out any bodywork dent removal with access the interior of the
shell
·
Removed and fully replace the wooden from throughout the livening area
·
Reinstate the electrical system with LED upgrade
·
Reinstall the interior
·
Refit/ repair/ replace the blinds
·
Retrim all the soft furnishings
·
Restore the exterior appearance with respray/ wrap
·
Any other remedial work
It may be possible to
do less than is listed above but for bidding purposes, please use it as a
minimum guide
