The Chausson Welcome 630 is a fairly unique motorhome as one of the only ones that offers two single electronic drop-down beds in the centre of the motorhome. This allows you to have a large spacious lounge as well as the luxury of a really comfortable nights sleep without either making up beds everyday or loosing all the space to a fixed bed. The beds drop down separately so can just have one single down if you prefer. They can be dropped down very low so are easy to get in and out. They also operate independently so can have one person stay in bed whilst the other can either stay up later or get up early. The motorhome is a 4 berth and the lounge sofas and table can be used to create the second double. The lounge has a multi-directional table and a cleverly stored Avtec TV.
This motorhome comes with two pop up rear travel seats with seatbelts that fold away under the side sofas. They can easily be taken out if you are looking to take any guests or family out for the day. When not in use they are stored away giving you all the space you need to relax. It is perfect for a couple or single person who want to take out a couple of guests or grandchildren – without sacrificing the space when they want use it on their own.
Moving back the motorhome has a well equipped kitchen which features and oven, grill, hob with 3 gas burners and sink on one side and a large 3-way fridge with separate freezer on top.
At the rear of the motorhome you have a large rear washroom with Thetford flush cassette toilet, sink and separate shower. There is also a large wardrobe with hanging rail and shelves giving you loads of space for your clothes.
Externally the Chausson has a large garage which would be perfect for electric bikes or other equipment like tables and chairs. It comes will a large wind-out awning, has a 150 watt solar panel and tow bar.
In summary this is an excellent motorhome with a fantastic layout for a couple or single person. The two drop down beds definitely gives you the advantage of enjoying the best of both with space and comfort – yet still being able to take out up to 4 people if you want to have a few days out with family or friends.
This Chausson is built on a Ford chassis and has a economical 2 litre engine it is a 6 speed manual with 130 bhp.
