Presented here is a Fleetwood Tioga Montara 6 berth RV with Petrol and LPG, an unbreakable engine and a great interior.
The interior is completely made over, with new carpet, curtains, cupboard lining, recently fitted dual electric/lpg water heater, new three point safety harnesses and multiple accessories and new CO2 + smoke alarm. The new double mattress is custom fitted and very deep, all the sofa covers have been steam cleaned and the interior generally updated. The van has a lot of external storage and an external tape player and speakers built in to an exterior locker as well as the sound system within the van’s cab and ceiling. The engine is unstoppable – a truly bullet proof Ford powerplant. There are two leisure batteries, but they’re old and will require replacing at some point. They’re connected to a couple of solar panels on the roof, as well as the engine. The van is very spacious on the inside and has a large separate shower and toilet. The overcab sleeper is gigantic – it can fit three small kids with ease.
We would recommend this to somebody able to put a little time into it – with some work it’s going to be unbeatable value at the price.
Other features: LPG and Petrol can both be used to drive the vehicle, and some items can use the LPG supply, like the water heater, cooker and fridge. It has both American and UK 240 volt sockets, front and rear CO2 and smoke alarms, emergency lighting and numerous other details like new cupboard handles, new switches, a new custom made (massive) breadboard that sits over the sink and new curtain tracks for the new curtains.
We love our van but circumstances mean we can’t use it anytime soon. We hope the next owners love it too – and we think anybody seeing the interior will see what a great place it is for a family trip, and how much care went into the living space. Currently located in West Norwood, south London.
