We have all found many benefits of staying within the
perimeter of the race circuit or very close to it. Most notably the evening
before and then after the day’s events reciting thoughts and stories with all
that have participated in the weekends meeting. When attending the more popular
events often situated in rural regions locating an ideal place to stay can be
difficult and often you are placed in opposite directions from one another.
The Fleetwood Tioga is an American model which has utilised
Ford for its chassis and running gear, this makes for an easy to service
vehicle and familiar replaceable parts should they be required. In 2010, the
first registered keeper and previous owner to us took upon the sensible idea to
install LPG fuel tanks working alongside the 6.0-litre petrol engine. A steady
13,000 miles has been covered in 12 years with a strong and consistent service
history to match. Since 2009, the annual MOT inspection all state a clean bill
of health and any advisories have been tended to. Contributing to the
remarkable condition we see today is the huge benefit of the Fleetwood always
being dry stored since our ownership and when not in use.
This motorhome is very comfortable. It has large closet
space, a King size bed, separate full height shower from bathroom area. There
are 2 slides, 1 in bedroom, and the 2nd in living, and has a functional kitchen
area. The 6 or 7 birth vehicle makes for a wide range of functions and for the
broadest of families. Both slide outs are large and give the motorhome plenty
of room to accommodate 7 people for the night. A welcomed air conditioning
unit, Onan 4000 generator, hitch and trailer tow package, vented microwave,
Norcold fridge and freezer, gas 3 burner top stove and gas oven, dual sinks,
water purification system, LCD TV and DVD system, faux leather sofa, faux
granite Formica top dinette table and seating with seat belts, King sized walk
around bed, make up table with many more items to ensure a comfortable
excursion.
It was first registered in North America in December of 2007
and followed by UK registration in April of 2008. The first UK owner had
ownership for around 3 years and covered circa 9,000 miles. Now showing 25,672
we have steadily accrued roughly 1,200 miles a year without fault.
Located just outside the M25 near Amersham and available for
viewing, this motorhome is ready for its next owners and adventures ahead.
Please note, a fresh MOT will be included in the sale.
