Introducing this spacious and robust motorhome, this impressive vehicle not only boasts double beds over the cab for a comfortable night’s sleep but also features fold-down bench seats to accommodate two/three more sleepers below. The inclusion of a folding dining table adds to the convenience, providing a versatile space for meals and socialising. The interior is in excellent and well condition.
Priced around £20,000 with dealers, this motorhome offers excellent value (NO VAT) for its size and features. Despite being a 2002 model, it comes with surprisingly low mileage, ensuring it has plenty of life left for new adventures. The motorhome is equipped with a large and well-appointed bathroom, with separate shower, sink and toilet, catering to your comfort and convenience on the road.
A standout feature of this motorhome is its powerful 2.8l turbo diesel motor, capable of cruising at 65mph on the motorway, complete with tow bar for a bike rack.
Unfortunately there has been a recent issue with the 5th gear popping out, the motorhome remains fully operational and the other gears work seamlessly with no engagement issues and you can cruise happily at 55mph in fourth gear. The decision to sell without addressing the fifth gear issue is due to our engagement in another more urgent project van, and the size of this motorhome (6.5m in length) exceeds our current needs due to space issues. During our time with this motorhome we’ve added a new water pump and two leisure batteries.
Though the gearbox issue hasn’t been physically inspected by a mechanic, there is a mention of a potential synchro problem. To account for the cost of potential repairs, we’ve factored in a substantial discount, considering estimates from mechanics ranging from £1200 to £2500 for a gearbox or synchro fix. Despite this, the motorhome remains in great condition, making it an attractive option for those willing to invest in the repairs if necessary.
