Has a few war wounds from its 27 years of travelling. It’s clear of HP and I am the sole undisputed owner. I have all the original paperwork and some bills from the garages who have performed various repairs. It’s been over serviced, as it had to carry the previous owner to Portugal and back since 2020, so has to be reliable, and it has been. We have been to the south coast and various places in Norfolk. It is very clean inside and will come good for the first adventure to the fortunate buyer with a gas bottle and mains connection lead and everything else you need to go on your first adventure. Everything works. The fridge isn’t the original, but is a close replacement. The Carver Cascade is now 100% good on 240v. It has a Thetford cassette loo and Whale pumped water, hot and cold. There is a 2000-100W inverter fitted and the leisure battery is 85 AH and it is strong. A replacement of some of the tubes with LED’s to save power. No solar is fitted as we have used it at campsites with power.Cooker hob, grill and oven are like new, we have used it for a few meals.Furnishings are clean. Some of the curtains at the front are faded slightly. a clean mattress is in the overcab sleeping area.Mechanically, it is really good. As it’s old it has had a few replacements.Cambelt, glowplugs and all drive belts at about 40000. I didn’t do this, so there is a bill from the mechanic who did. An alternator was replaced with one rewound to 130AH, as the originals are 90AH and can’t cope.Manual override for the cooling fan to prevent overheating (It has been used it in 42c without issue).Brake pipeRear wheel bearings. The front left chassis longeron has been welded and protected against future corrosion.Front crossmember replaced (bolt on)New back window. Has four Michelin Agelis Van tyres with less than 5000 miles on them (Replaced 2022) Front brake pads at the same time.Faults: Weak Syncro on fifth gear. It stays in gear but requires rev matching or double declutching to avoid a small grate. However it does drive well.
Drivers side door was working however it will no longer open, door was opened in winter and it maybe the cable that opens the door is at fault. Water did leak from tv areal, but since sealed and cannot be raised. Genuine reason for sale.
